Black Histotry Month Free talks

1 - 31 October 2024
Weekends in October
Free to all

Discover stories of black lives in London, from Tudor’s through to Windrush.

During the weekends in October join a free talk at London Museum Docklands and uncover the contributions and legacies of Black Londoner's.

Uncover the myths of black Tudor London or learn about the vital contributions made by Londoners of African heritage on England's abolition campaign. Also, don’t miss a chance to hear firsthand accounts from some of the thousands of Caribbean men and women who answered Britain's call for help following the World War II, referred to today as the Windrush Generation.
