Dr Cordula Peters is a German-born artist, designer, educator, and professional chef. She currently lives in East Sussex, UK, where she explores her love of the culinary arts as sous chef at the world renowned Glyndebourne Opera House, while continuing her work as an independent researcher and exhibiting artist. As a chef her interests focus on creating food that is local, seasonal, and sustainable with an emphasis on foraged and home-grown ingredients. As a researcher she mainly focuses on historical research of old recipes, recipe collections, cookbooks, and cooking utensils, in particular the famous egg coddler.
