A screening of The Baby and the Snake will follow a short introduction to the film by the director Corrina Eastwood.

The Baby And The Snake is a short documentary exploring patriarchal roles within Romani Gypsy culture, the impact of culturally constructed ideas of masculinity, social exclusion and paternal relationships.

A screening of The Baby and the Snake will follow a short introduction to the film by the director Corrina Eastwood. This film has been acquired into the museum's permanent collection.

Following the screening there will opportunity for audience members to ask Corrina questions about the film, her identity and wider practice.

This talk is linked to the exhibition Atchin Tan - Travelling Through Art at Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum. Free to visit.
