Join us for 'Edinburgh Connections' a concert by Sangstream Scots Folk Choir!
Founded in 1997, Sangstream Scots Folk Choir is based in central Edinburgh, with rehearsals taking place on Thursday evenings. The choir is open to everyone and there is no audition to join us. Our repertoire is mainly Scots folk songs, both traditional and modern and sung in harmony, unaccompanied. Sangstream aims to provide the opportunity for people to learn about and share Scots songs and traditions and to carry these songs out into the wider community. Our musical director, Corrina Hewat, is celebrating her 30th year in the arts as singer, harpist and composer, and has a wide and varied background of music and theatre.
