Hop onboard the Peter Blake Bus at Pitzhanger!
Join us at Pitzhanger for the opening day of For Arts Sake x Pitzhanger: Original Works on Paper, Saturday 14 December, where you can hop onboard the Peter Blake Art Bus, a mobile gallery designed by ‘The Godfather of Pop Art’ Blake himself. This double-decker mobile gallery is decorated with vibrant Pop Art emblems that defined Blake’s career, with more seminal works on display onboard.
Dedicated entirely to original works on paper, For Arts Sake x Pitzhanger will showcase over 150 pieces in Pitzhanger Gallery, by both established and emerging artists. Many of the pieces are newly created or previously unseen, offering visitors a unique opportunity to purchase original framed art in the run-up to the festive season. And better still, with every sale made, a proportion of the proceeds will go to funding Pitzhanger’s community projects and outreach programmes.
The bus will roll up and park at the entrance to Pitzhanger for one day only! No ticket required, drop-in at any time from 11am–5pm to see the bus for yourself!
