Join us on International Women's Day to celebrate and learn about women's football! Football Historian Steve Bolton will be showing the film “Granny” - a moving tribute to his International footballing grandmother, Lizzy Ashcroft of the Dick, Kerr Ladies. We will also be hosting an Interactive Discussion Panel, presented by Dr Alex Alexandrou and joined by Army football legend Krissy Wright + TalkSport Journalist Uma Gurav.
You will also have a chance to view some of the amazing Sterling Telephone Factory and Sterling Ladies FC Archives held at Valence House. All visitors will be put in a free draw to win a signed copy of ‘The Keeper’ by Kelcey Ervick.
