George Shaw shares his favourite poems and books.

Join us for a rainy Thursday Evening in with George Shaw and his Books as he shares his favourite poems and books and discussed how poetry is important to him.

A number of George Shaw’s painting and drawings are on display within Lives Less Ordinary. Lives Less Ordinary explores the overlooked richness and diversity of working-class life and creative expression from the 1950s to now.

Challenging long-standing inequities and misrepresentation, this exhibition will present compelling assertions of pride, tenderness, resilience, humour and hopefulness, and moments of play, joy and rest.
