A Pop Up 1970's tea room by the Friends to celebrate the 50-year anniversary of the Judges' Lodgings opening as a museum.

In celebration of the 50-year anniversary of the Judges' Lodgings opening as a museum, the Friends of the Judges' Lodgings are having a 70s themed Tea Room. So, dig out your flares and platform shoes and come along in 70's costume to help us celebrate and treat yourself to delicious homemade cakes, coffee and tea.

Access to the tea room only is free. Refreshments and cakes are by donation.

Admission charges for the museum are £5 per adult. Those aged under 18 visit for free.

Opening times

The museum is open 11am - 4pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the season. The season is Thursday 3rd April - Sunday 16 November 2025. The building is also open for our Dark History tours throughout the winter and for pre-booked school visits and pre-booked private tours.

Art Pass holders free entry applies to Museum only. Events may still be charged.

Refurbishments

The Judges' Lodgings now has a new Welcome Gallery to highlight the key stories of the house including the arrival of the Judges and the Lancashire Witch Trials.
