Easter Storyboats are a gentle trip down the river Gade, for children aged 4 to 8 years, while picture book stories are read.

Easter Storyboats are a gentle trip down the river Gade, for children aged 4 to 8 years, while picture book stories are read to them. The Bryan Donkin boat, leaves the wharf at Frogmore Paper Mill's main entrance in Fourdrinier Way, is skippered down the River Gade to meet the canal where we pause and return. In between the stories, we spot the local wildlife and feed the waterbirds we can.

Boats are operated by qualified skippers, and safety jackets are available. We begin with a short health and safety talk and we have a toilet on board. Our boat covers have windows which can be removed in fine weather. In the event of severe weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel for safety and will issue a full refund. We have never had to do this but we put the safety of all at the centre of what we do.
