What does a modern day jewelry shop have to do with the Crimean War? Where did Nightingale write her famous Note on Nursing?
Find out these answers and much more when you walk in the footsteps of the ‘mother of nursing’ and discover the life of Florence Nightingale through the places where she lived and worked. Learn about her influential neighbors and have a chance for some very unique experiences, like getting to smell a sample of Nightingale’s favourite perfume!
This walk lasts approximately 2 hours, and will be conducted at a reasonable walking pace so please wear appropriate footwear.
Tickets are £16 per person and there are 20 tickets available per tour. (£25 per person for walking tour + museum admission)
This tour is led by professional tour guides.
Start: 11.00am outside the BMW showroom (W1K 7TT) on the corner of Park Lane and South Street (nearest tube stations are Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner)
Finish: The Florence Nightingale Statue at Waterloo Place.
