Poetry Workshop with Brenda Wells inspired by the connecting lives of Sir Alfred Munnings and Charles Dickens.

A variety of creative writing tasks and prompts will be used throughout this session, inspired by the connecting lives of Sir Alfred Munnings and Charles Dickens. Further time will be given to develop and share work in the rest of the session, which is suitable for writers of all levels.

Workshop led by Brenda Wells Brenda Wells is a teacher and a writer, she has published two books of poetry: Seasons of Poetry (2022) and Time Tumbled Words (2024) she runs the Poetry Plus spoken word group in Manningtree and delivers writers’ workshops.

For many years she worked as a lecturer, specialising in teaching challenging and neurodiverse teenagers; latterly focusing on a teacher training role.
