James Freemantle, proprietor of the St James Park Press, discusses using traditional printing methods for his private press
James Freemantle is the proprietor of the St James Park Press, publishing letterpress printed books in limited editions. Each book is carefully made using traditional printing methods, as employed over 100 years ago at the Kelmscott and Doves Presses. It can take James years to finish an edition, despite working full time at the Press, such is the meticulous and time consuming task of making books by hand.
James will speak about his Press, highlighting some of the books he has produced, detailing the processes involved, as well as the difficulties.
Tickets are £7.
This is a live talk, that takes place over Zoom. Attendees will be sent the link the day of the talk.
