Rescuing Ruins: The work of the Landmark Trust

Alastair will give us an overview the work of the Landmark Trust, one of the UK’s largest building preservation trusts founded back in 1965. He will tell us about how the Landmark Trust came to be, how it operates, and in particular, he will tell us about some of the Trust’s many restoration projects.

Alastair Dick-Cleland has worked since 1996 for the Landmark Trust, one of the UK’s largest, and longest established building preservation trusts. His current role is as their Project Development Manager, focusing on the selection of future restoration projects. He also has a longstanding admiration for the work of the famous Arts & Crafts architect, Charles Voysey, and in 2019 became Secretary of the CFA Voysey Society. His talk will be about the work of the Landmark Trust.
