The Friends of Innerpeffray are delighted to welcome Mike Bullock, OBE, to present his talk "The Northern Lighthouse Board : More Than Lighthouses". Mike Bullock had a 34 year career with the Royal Navy which included service in surface vessels and submarines as well as posts ashore in the British Embassy Washington DC, NATO, Pentagon and Navy Command HQ as the Commodore responsible for Logistics and Infrastructure for the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Fleet Auxiliary. In 2014 he took early retirement to take up his dream job as the Chief Executive of the Northern Lighthouse Board and now oversees the delivery of Marine Aids to Navigation in Scottish and Manx waters. He is a trustee of the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses, the Northern Lighthouse Heritage Trust and the Royal Yacht BRITANNIA Trust.
