Discover the origins of textile manufacturing company, Warner & Sons. See some of the 100,000 historic objects and designs of the Warner Textile Archive up-close. From printed curtain panels from c.1830, sumptuous handwoven silks from the early days of the company in the 1870s, design development in the 1930s, to the exuberance of the 1960s and 1970s.
Visits include an introductory tour of the Warner & Sons Gallery at Braintree Museum, light refreshments in our café, and behind the scenes access to the Warner Textile Archive store.
