A series of groundbreaking exhibitions, highlighting Giacometti's enduring influence on contemporary sculpture.
Three groundbreaking exhibitions will take place over a course of a year to spotlight Alberto Giacometti's enduring influence on contemporary sculpture. Launching on 8 May with an exhibition by Huma Bhabha, with Mona Hatoum following on 4 September, and Lynda Benglis in February 2026. Pre-existing and new works of art by the contemporary artists will be presented alongside Giacometti's sculptures for the first time to open up connections and dialogues across generations.
These intimate exhibitions will take place in a new exhibition space in the Barbican.
