Founded in 1961, the American Museum and Gardens in Bath specialises in American decorative arts and folk art.

The American Museum & Gardens at Claverton Manor is dedicated to showcasing American art, culture, and history and is the only museum outside the United States devoted specifically to American decorative arts.

A Transatlantic Treasure Trove

The museum's collections encompass a wide range of objects, from furniture, paintings, silver and glass, to folk art and everyday items. An impressive collection of American quilts highlights American craft traditions and social history.
