With 13 displays spread across two floors, the museum is home to a vast collection of clothing, accessories and textiles. The Cavalcade of Costume collection was acquired by the museum’s founder Betty Penny and sits at the heart of the museum’s mission.
With exhibitions focusing on historic dress, textile trends and more, the museum presents a unique portrait of fashion and textiles from the 1700s to the late-1900s. And there is a lovely shop and tearoom to enjoy onsite.
