Castle Howard
With a National Art Pass you get
Built over 300 years ago, Castle Howard is an English stately home boasting iconic Baroque architecture and beautiful gardens.
Visitors can explore the 18th-century house and discover awe-inspiring architecture, beautiful interiors and world-renowned collections. Knowledgeable guides are on hand to share stories of the house, family and works of art with visitors of all ages.
The house is home to works of art of international significance and the curatorial team work closely with galleries from around the world to loan out items.
Beyond the house, the 1,000 acres of parkland incorporate rolling lawns, lakes, fountains, temples, woodland, an ornamental walled garden and children's playground, and on-site facilities include a farm shop, gift shop, café and garden centre.
