Set in an Elizabethan manor house, Maidstone Museum & Bentlif Art Gallery has a vast array of exhibits including fine art, musical instruments, ceramics, and natural history specimens.
With over 660,000 objects in the collection there is no shortage of things to discover, from tiny carved Japanese netsuke and Edo period woodblock prints to the only Egyptian adult human mummified remains in Kent. Children will enjoy the roar of the dinosaur in the Earth Gallery, as well as regular storytelling and holiday activities.
