National Museums Collection Centre in Edinburgh is a climate-controlled home to objects not currently on display in Scotland's museum, plus a hub for research and training.

Two new buildings provide state-of-the-art conservation laboratories and enhanced storage for the national collections. Visits are by appointment only. Alternative arrangements may be made to view objects at one of National Museums Scotland's sites subject to the availability of staff to assist.
