Perth Art Gallery
Explore centuries of art at Perth Art Gallery, which boasts one of the oldest public collections in the UK.
Perth Art Gallery is home to one of the UK's oldest collections. They hold works by influential modern Scottish artists, including Joan Eardley, Sir William MacTaggart, Calum Colvin, JD Fergusson, Margaret Morris and Alison Watt.
Learn about modern Scottish artists
Explore Modern Scots, a new permanent display, that tells the story of influential modern Scottish artists and their contribution to 20th and 21st century art. The works on display cover the last 100 years and demonstrate the new and innovative ways in which Scottish artists were working and taking inspiration from the past and from Europe.
Discover local and international artists
As part of a recent refresh, the gallery is displaying more works of art from local and international artists and is now the home of the Fergusson Collection, which celebrates the life and creative partnership of the Scottish Colourist, John Duncan Fergusson, and his partner, Margaret Morris, the pioneering dancer.
Family activities
The gallery is also home to Hands on Art, a family area and offers a programme of family activities.
