The Rugby Collection

The museum houses an impressive art collection showcasing a variety of modern and contemporary British art, including works by renowned artists like L.S. Lowry, Stanley Spencer, Paula Rego, and Graham Sutherland. You will also find temporary exhibitions featuring both local and international artists.

Roman artefacts

Discover the rich history of the region with a collection of Roman artefacts excavated from the nearby town of Tripontium. The objects excavated in the 1960s are on display in the Archaeology Gallery.

Local history

Explore the history of Rugby through exhibits that delve into the town's past and its people. Find out about the area's industrial and social heritage through A History of Rugby in 50 Objects. Donated by local residents the collection includes a 'boneshaker' bicycle and Cold Cathode Clock from Rugby Radio Station.
