The Oxfordshire Museum
Situated in a large 18th-century house in the historic town of Woodstock, The Oxfordshire Museum has 11 galleries including the children's Dinosaur Gallery.
Located in the historic Fletcher's House, this museum is a great place to explore the rich history and culture of the county. A variety of exhibits, events and activities make for unique and informative experience for visitors of all ages.
Feed the dinosaurs
Quarrying in Oxfordshire has uncovered many examples of dinosaur bones. Inside the Dinosaur Gallery children can dress up as dinosaurs, enjoy dinosaur themed games, puzzles or the puppet show and even feed the large dinosaur heads on the gallery wall. Outside, kids and adults alike will love the Dinosaur Garden, featuring life-size megalosaur footprints and other prehistoric wonders.
