One drawing from a collection of 58 drawings, mostly of the British School, from the Herbert Powell Collection of British Watercolours. Dr Herbert Powell formed a valuable collection of watercolours and drawings. He had earlier gifted some works from the collection to the Art Fund in 1929 to function as a Loan Collection for public institutions. These works were later permanently distributed by the Art Fund amongst various public collections in 1968.
