Horrockses Fashions Ltd bought a number of art works from the Paolozzi exhibition 'Paintings into Textiles' held at the Institute of Contemporary Art in 1953. They translated this mixed media design into a fashion textile. The dress was designed by John Tullis and featured in 'The Ambassador' in 1953.
