10 works from of a group of 23 drawings and 5 wood engravings presented to the Whitworth by Mr A E Anderson through the Art Fund. Mr Anderson went on to give over a hundred more works to the Whitworth through the Art Fund on three separate occasions in 1925, 1926 and 1928. 1) Street by Moonlight by Gwendolen Raverat (illustrated); 2) Landscape with Sheep, near Netley, Hampshire by Arthur Devis; 3) Mousehold Heath by Thomas Lound (currently unlocated); 4) Mountain behind Mentone, South of France by Sir Charles Holmes; 5) Lake Avernus, Italy by Richard Wilson; 6) An Open Landscape on a Rainy Day by W Longstaff; 7) The Lock, Tewksbury by Alfred Rich; 8) Hills above Collioure by James Innes; 9) Collines: Souvenir d'Italie by Alphonse Legros; 10) The Old Barn by Ethelbert White.
