Art Funded by you
Culverin or canon
Pollonio di Niccolo Perusini, 1533

This canon is notable among surviving pieces of early ordnance in bearing the date, place and name of the founder. It is rare to find this combination of foundry skill and high relief, elaborate decoration (which is of the bearded heads of satyrs).
