Cut-glass chandelier

Unknown artist, 1840–1850

This fairly small, elegant, glass chandelier has four glass arms and candle-holders. The bril1iant-cut pendant lustres are closely spaced, enclosing the central shaft and forming four concentric circles from the metal base-rings. All the pieces of cut glass are original with a few very small chips on some of the lower pieces.
