This work presents a view down a ravine between rocky cliffs. In the foreground, the dead Christ is supported by three figures in blue cloaks, accompanied by a standing figure draped in red and a kneeling figure behind in yellow. A grey cliff bears two crosses on top, visible against the sky which is grey and cloudy , with red and yellow sunset light near the horizon.
