Dining room settle

A carved and inlaid oak settle designed for the Glasgow International Exhibition in 1901. It has a high backrest consisting of oak panels inlaid with butterflies and flower designs between green leather panels. The sides are decorated with carved roses. The seat is upholstered and there is a repeating green heart design at the bottom of the backrest. The settle is on castors.
