Art Funded by you

Eight prints 1936-74

Cecil Collins, 1936-1982

© Tate 2015 / Photo © Ashmolean Museum, University of Oxford

This selection of watercolours, lithographs and collotypes demonstrates CollinsÂ’ enthusiastic experimentation with printmaking, as well as complementing his unique blend of Neo-Romanticism and Surrealism. These depictions of fantastical landscapes and heavenly bodies are an excellent addition to the AshmoleanÂ’s significant collection of works by the artist.
