George Louis Du Maurier, 1875–1894

One work from an original bequest of six drawings rediscovered in the stores in 2007. The other five drawings were disposed from the collection in 1948 and included illustrations for 'Punch' and 'Court Royal' magazine. Part of a collection of 300 drawings and illustrations bequeathed to 57 museums by the estate of George du Maurier through the Art Fund in 1934.
