© Carol McNicoll
This is a witty commentary on current affairs and echoes the artist's previous overtly political work. It depicts a soldier trampling on a ruined classical column while carrying a mass-produced glass bowl on his shoulders. The soldier's uniform has a floral print. It is unusual for this artist to make an overt political statement.
