Adi Toch uses traditional silversmithing techniques to create curious objects which invite the observer to touch, play and explore. This bowl is an example of what she describes as the tension between symmetrical and irregular forms, and also of the theme of containment (the ball bearings inside the bowl cannot escape). The work was presented to the museum by Nicholas and Judith Goodison.
