Art Funded by you

Limehouse Basin

Jock McFadyen, 1990

© Jock McFadyen

This collection of late 20th-century British paintings has been donated anonymously through the Art Fund to four galleries. All eight paintings take as their subject the human figure. The five works that are now at the Ashmolean enable the museum to show some of the main trends in British figurative painting of the last 20 years.
