Orvieto Cathedral

Sir Muirhead Bone, 1876–1953

© The artist's estate

The view looks diagonally across the square in front of the cathedral where we can see one side of the facade. The cathedral is on the right and a few figures and a cart can be seen in the square, under a rainy sky. One of five bequests to the Fitzwilliam and British Museum by Sir Sidney Colvin through the Art Fund in 1927.
