Pierre Louis van Schuppen, 1667

One of a collection of 45 French portrait engravings, chiefly of the seventeenth century presented to the Ashmolean through the Art Fund in 1951. The series includes 34 engravings by Robert Nanteuil; 27 by Francois Cheran the Elder; 7 by the various members of the Drevet family (Claude, Pierre, and Pierre Imbert), and one each by Gerard Edelinck and Jean-George Wille.
