Strawberry Dish

Mungo Yorstoun, 1717

The dish has been raised from a single piece of flat plate and has a part fluted circular form, on rim foot, engraved with crest and motto. The piece is heavily made with a scratch weight of 19oz 8d, which is typical of the quality of much Edinburgh plate, combining strength with simple form.
