
Signed Felix Loubet au St Esprit Table-clock with alarm, in case of engraved brass gilt. Outer case of leather decorated with gilt tooling. The subjects around the sides represent the four seasons. This work was donated by Max Rosenheim, who was a financier and part of the Executive Committee of the Art Fund from its inauguration. He was a well known collector of engravings and medals and also Trustee of the British Museum.
