Depicts Peter at the foot of Dorcas' bed, surrounded by the former recipients of her charity who marvel at her restoration and show Peter the garments she had made for them. The drawing exemplifies Spencer's interest in depicting Biblical scenes set in the familiar setting of his native Cookham, and his development as one of the most skilled designers of figure compositions of his time.
