Art Funded by you

The Stroud Valley

Philip Wilson Steer, 1902

Since the artist was educated at the Cathedral School, Hereford, it was very appropriate that this interesting example of his work should have been added to the city's Art Gallery. The prevailing tones of pale greens and blues are typical of his style.
