Altarpiece of two parts, a carved oak reredos, containing six individual scenes from the life of Christ in elaborate Gothic surrounds and an altar with three panels in relief. During Towneley's life-time, he placed it in the Family Chapel in Towneley Hall. Dims of reredos; 274 x 214 x 56 cm.
