On one side is the Chateau Narbonnais surrounded by the inscription, MAIA : LIVRA : DE : TOLOAZ+; on the other, the Cathedral of Toulouse within the inscription : AN : M : C : C C: XXX VIIII. This work was donated by Max Rosenheim, who was a financier and part of the Executive Committee of the Art Fund from its inauguration. He was a well known collector of engravings and medals and also Trustee of the British Museum.
