Bankside Gallery in central London is the home of the Royal Watercolour Society and the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers.
Located right next to Tate Modern on the Thames Path, Bankside Gallery was founded as a permanent exhibition space for the Royal Watercolour Society (RWS) and the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE), and offers a unique focus on contemporary art.
Watercolors and prints
Exhibitions showcase the very best in contemporary watercolours and original prints, which encompass a wide variety of techniques from etching and engraving to screen printing and digital processes.
Established and emerging artists
Whether you're familiar with renowned watercolorists or keen to discover the next big name in printmaking, the gallery offers a diverse range of artistic talent, with exhibitions that explore a variety of themes and styles. Almost all works are available for sale and works priced over £100 can be purchased interest-free through the Own Art Scheme.
