Museum of the Jewellery Quarter
With a National Art Pass you get
The Museum of the Jewellery Quarter is a time capsule left behind by the proprietors of the Smith & Pepper jewellery manufacturing firm when they ceased trading in 1981.
Tools were left strewn on benches; grubby overalls were hung on the coat hooks; and dirty teacups were abandoned. Today the factory is a remarkable museum which tells the story of the Jewellery Quarter and Birmingham's renowned jewellery and metalworking heritage.

The Museum of the Jewellery Quarter is currently closed except for special events.
Birmingham Museums Trust is a registered charity and we rely on your support for the future of the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter. As with all other organisations the cost of running the charity has been increasing. This means we cannot afford to fully open all our Historic Properties at the moment. We share your disappointment and we are working hard to get the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter open once again.
