Make yourself accountable for each mark at these Still Life Classes at Peterborough Museum. Implement the differences between openness and freedom in line or brushwork, examine relative colours and study composition layouts and lighting, ready to paint loosely or study colour intently.
Each week we will put together a new still life to challenge the class, perfect for people who like to learn in a group environment and take home ideas to develop their own working methodology and build up a body of work.
Drawing materials and paper are provided. Alternatively bring your own paints, pastels, canvases or and surfaces should you have a favourite medium you would like to use. You may also bring your tablet digital drawing device should you which to explore new media in a still life observational context.
