This Month's Schedule:
Thursday 3rd October - Join Claire for a tour of some of our early keyboard instruments and learn all about some of our oldest keyed instruments.
Friday 11th October - Join Dona for a tour of our keyboard galleries and learn all about our early keyboard collections.
Wednesday 16th October - Join David for ‘The Pipes: From Bliss to Bedlam‘ and learn about all things keyboard to bagpipes.
Saturday 26th October - Join Jim for a tour of the Wolfson Gallery and learn about the development of instruments over time.
Tuesday 29th October - Join Katya for a tour highlighting the many animals that feature in our collection.
What to Expect
Whilst the topics of our weekly talks vary, you can expect pretty much the same structure for each one. You will arrive at the reception where someone will greet you and let you know where the tour group is meeting (usually by reception). At 2pm the tour guide will come down and take your group to the galleries where the tour will begin. You are welcome to stay after the tour and take a look around the rest of the museum at your own pace until we close at 4.30pm.
