Join us for a screening of a selection of films by Trinidadian filmmaker Shari Petti.
Petti has been filming carnival in Trinidad for a number of years, with works spanning a range of genres, from documentary to music videos.
At the SLG, the screening presents her ever evolving archive and lens and discusses the ever changing meaning and shape of carnival across the diaspora.
An in-conversation will follow the screening hosted by writer and cultural producer Yaya Azariah Clarke.
Programme curated by Lauren Gee.
