Join us for a slow craft social lead by Textile Artist and our Visitor Services Supervisor, Emma Graves.

Join us for a slow craft social lead by Textile Artist and our Visitor Services Supervisor, Emma Graves. Drawing ideas from Craftivism* and Mindfulness, we will explore relaxing techniques such as embroidery, collage, and printing in the session. Take time to approach making in a contemplative space to resist the pressures of productivity. This drop-in workshop focuses on enjoying the process of making as opposed to producing a finished piece.

No need to have previous craft experience. Drop-in at any time but booking is required.

Materials will be provided!

*Craftivism (coined by Betsy Greer), a portmanteau of craft and activism, utilises craft as a form of gentle protest.
